Safety is a personal responsibility and is a critical and inseparable part of everyone’s job. The best safety device is a safe person.

It is the policy of Linpac, Inc. that the maintenance of safe and healthy working conditions are of vital interest and concern for the company. Therefore, operations free of hazards that can result in injury or physical harm are established as a continuing objective.
This policy further directs that:

· All necessary measures are taken to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety codes and laws.
· Site safety programs, policies and procedures will be maintained to establish and promote safe work practices by each employee.
· A program designed to thoroughly investigate all accidents, which result in injury, or significant property damage will be maintained. The objectives of this program is to determine the causal factors and action to prevent reoccurrence.
· A program of in-house safety; health and housekeeping inspections will be maintained including procedures for priority action to correct substandard conditions by feasible engineering controls, administrative controls or by providing and requiring the use of personal protective equipment.
· An evacuation plan and program, a fire protection plan and a chemical spill prevention program will be maintained with clearly defined responsibilities and training requirements to insure safe and orderly evacuations, adequate fire protection and proper containment and/or cleanup.

Each member of management has the personal and individual responsibility of all employees. Every employee is expected to continuously improve our housekeeping, to identify safety hazards and deficiencies in the safety or programs and provide input in finding corrective solutions.

It is the responsibility of each employee to perform his or her job in a safe manner following all safety policies, procedures and safety practices, using all required personal protective equipment, reporting all hazards and deficiencies immediately and continuously improve housekeeping throughout the facility.
