Providing a safe working environment for LINPAC employees and protecting LINPAC property and assets against accidental loss is a responsibility shared inherently by all LINPAC employees. The management of this LINPAC facility has accepted the responsibility to set in motion a program to accomplish these objectives.

Our safety program has been designed as a guide to help us implement practices and procedures which have been proven over time to be effective in minimizing loss to people and property. For example, this program contains procedures for controlling smoking and welding activities as well as job training and organizing an emergency response team.

Every employee has an important role to play in the safety program. Each employee must learn and accept the responsibility for their role and, in turn, each will benefit from the success of the program. It is the responsibility of each employee to perform his or her job in a safe manner following all safety policies, procedures, and safety practices, using all required personal protective equipment, reporting all hazards and deficiencies immediately and continuously improve housekeeping throughout the facility.

Attention to accident prevention and property protection is an essential part of everyone’s job. It is management’s intention to operate our plant so that work can be efficiently performed and in such a manner to avoid injury or illness to workers and all necessary measures be taken to comply fully with all applicable federal, state, and local safety codes and laws. The success of any operation must be judged on safety performance, efficient production, quality products and prompt service.

We pledge to do the following:
* Actively support and participate in the safety program.
* Provide training in the safe way to perform work.
* Guard and maintain equipment in a clean environment.
* Enforce safety rules and procedures.
* Provide prompt first aid and medical attention in the event of injury.

Each employee is expected to participate in the safety program by cultivating safe habits and attitudes that will make safety a “way of life” in our company.
