Quality / Manufacturing Program
 

LINPAC Displays Inc. has a very proactive Quality/ Manufacturing program that was started in January 2000. It was structured after the ISO 9000 standard, and LINPAC Displays received ISO-9001 certification on Aug. 29, 2001.

This program incorporates a 4 level Quality/ Manufacturing system, as follows:

• Level I -Quality Manual
• Level Il- Quality/ Manufacturing Procedures
• Level III -Quality/ Manufacturing Work Instructions
• Level IV-Quality/ Manufacturing Forms

LINPAC Displays Inc. subscribes to and practices continuous improvement activities involving the entire workforce, improving quality and reducing manufacturing time and costs.

The Quality Planning program, instituted in June 2000, has been very instrumental in assuring that jobs are initiated properly and efficiently. All disciplines meet and critique jobs for ease of manufacturing, correct materials, proper packaging and palletizing, etc.

Upper Management meets monthly to review all aspects of the business to assure that items potentially affecting the business are reviewed and addressed accordingly.

Because we believe in rewarding personnel for contributions toward the business, we began initiating a “Quality Merit” program. This program rewards hourly personnel for suggestions involving cost savings, quality improvements, eliminations of quality issues, etc., pending approval by management.

LINPAC Displays is FDA registered.
